What LabelFlash is Labelflash™ uses an optical drive's laser beam to burn images onto the label side of a disc. Labelflash™ allows you to burn monochrome, multi-gradated pictures and/or write titles on the label side of DVD discs that utilize the special writing dye developed by FUJIFILM Corporation through the use of a DVD writers with the Labelflash? function. The quality of labels printed with inkjet printers easily deteriorate due to blemishes, scratches, blurring, and browning over time. On the other hand, in the Labelflash? system, the imaging dye layer is located 0.6mm below the surface of the labeling side. Images last longer since the dye cannot be touched directly. These features tremendously improve durability for long-term storage. How LabelFlash Works: STEP 1: CREATE LABELFLASH LABEL DISC STEP 2: PRINT LABELFLASH LABEL 1. Using your preferred art design software and export the final image as a .BMP file. 2. Convert the above .BMP file into a Labelflash image file ".LFI" using the included software. 3. Burn the image label ".LFI" you created from the saved file on your computer onto a CD. (Please note that the Labelflash image conversion software is only compatible with a PC and not recognized on an Apple computer) 4. Place that CD containing the ".LFI" file into the reader drive of the SharkCopier LF duplicator. 5. Load Labelflash capable discs with the label side down in all of the writer drives. Then using the menu on the duplicator's LCD, choose and execute the "Print" function. 6. Burn your Labelflash label directly onto the discs in all the writer drives at the same time. *Remember, the same drive that burns your label burns your data, too.
